About
Hi again 👋
I’m a front-end developer based in Vancouver, passionate about creating digital products that feel natural and meaningful. Over the past few years, I’ve enjoyed working on small, hands-on projects — from custom WordPress rebuilds to full React and Firebase apps — learning how design, code, and user empathy connect to shape real experiences. I believe great interfaces don’t just look good — they feel effortless.
My Journey
I started my web development journey at BCIT, where I learned the foundations of responsive design and modern front-end practices. After completing the program, I joined small freelance and team projects — rebuilding websites for local businesses and sports leagues while exploring UX and CMS optimization. Today, I continue learning and building at Whitespace Studio, a small creative studio focused on thoughtful, real-world products like BiteBuddy and HoneyBible.
What I Value
- Clarity — Clean code and clean design belong together.
- Empathy — Every feature should make someone’s day a little easier.
- Iteration — I refine until it feels right — good design is never done.
- Learning — Whether it’s a new library or a new café, I love discovering and improving every day.
Outside of Code
When I’m not coding, I like exploring new web and app ideas for inspiration, checking out local cafés around Vancouver, or getting a good workout at the gym. I also love collecting small UI patterns from great apps — details that make interactions feel simple, fast, and human.
Tools I Use
- Frontend — React, Next.js, Tailwind CSS
- Design — Figma, Notion
- Backend — WordPress, Supabase, Firebase
- Etc — and, of course, a bottomless amount of coffee ☕
